How to use

1. Press Power Button to turn on the device.
2. Place the NoseFrida tip gently against
the child’s nostril creating a seal.
3. Watch the snot chamber fill with gunk.
4. Press Power Button again to turn off
the device.

Hazards and Cautions

When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
• WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, fire, or injury to persons:
• Do not use while bathing.
• Do not place or store product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
• Do not reach for a product that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
• Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or near children or those that are too weak or sick to care for themselves.
• Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug. If it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water, return the product to Frida for repair.
• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• Never block the air openings of the product or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and similar materials.
• Never use while drowsy or sleeping.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
• Recharge only with the charger specified in the manual. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
• Use appliances only with specifically designed battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or a fire.
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
• Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
• Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 265 F (130 C) may cause explosion.
• Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
• If the Electric NoseFrida is not operating, return to Frida for servicing to be performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure the safety of the product is maintained.
• Do not modify or attempt to repair the Electric NoseFrida except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.
• Use only with the listed/certified power supply. Never use unapproved sources.
• Not intended to cure or prevent any disease. Consult a doctor before using.
• Keep out of reach of children under 12 years. Only for use by an adult on a child.
• Never use the Electric NoseFrida for purposes other than those it has been intended for.
• Please follow the operating instructions for proper use.
• Never submerge the Electric NoseFrida into water or put under running water.
• Follow the “Care and Cleaning” instructions for proper cleaning methods.
• Clean the unit after each use.
• Only insert the tip enough to create a gentle seal around the edge of the nostril.
• Do not over-insert.
• Use the Frida brand provided tips. Do not use tips from a different manufacturer.
• If irritation occurs discontinue use immediately.
• Not serviceable. Do not open the housing.
• Inspect the Electric NoseFrida before each use. Discard at the first sign of malfunction. Do not use if it is overheating, operating irregularly, or is showing signs of damage to the housing.
• The device may require up to 30 minutes to warm up/cool down from the minimum/maximum storage temperature before it is ready for use.
• Report any events involving injuries or malfunctions to the Zhongshan GL Electronics Co., Ltd. customer service or your sales representative or competent authority.
